FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I've put together a list of the most commonly asked questions. Please take time to read these before your appointment as it will help save time and provide you with important information before you arrive.
Can you come to my home or workplace?
To get the most out of your treatment, I ask clients to come to my treatment room. The experience of being in the relaxing space I have created without the pressures or possible distractions is so much more beneficial and gives the most effective treatment. For this reason, I don’t do home visits.
If you are based in the Marlowe Innovation Centre, I do offer seated massage and can come to your office. I intend to extend this service to local businesses in the future.

What is reflexology?
What is Swedish massage and how is it different from Thai or sports massage?
Thai Massage and Sports Massage use varying techniques for deep tissue massage, such as climbing on the person in some cases (Thai), and using elbows and firm pressures (sports). Both of these therapies can be painful, though obviously will be therapeutic too whereas Swedish Massage is more soothing and relaxing and at the same time therapeutic for sore and stiff muscles, increasing circulation to the skin and underlying tissues and promoting lymph drainage and detoxing.
Can you do deep tissue massage?
I haven’t yet done a specific qualification in deep tissue massage however I have learnt some techniques through continual development that can be applied to my usual massage to work on more problematic areas.
Can you do Indian Head massage?

I feel embarrassed about my body how can you reassure me?
Everyone, even people you wouldn’t have considered, have insecurities about their physical appearance. I am professional and concentrate on delivering the best service I can. I’m certainly not interested in making any judgements towards others. Hopefully having a treatment will help you overcome your embarrassment and you’ll be so relaxed that you won’t care what you look like! As well as your spirits being uplifted you will benefit from better condition skin, improved skin tone and reduced appearance of cellulite.
Do you offer sensual massage?
Do I have to remove my clothes when having a treatment?
If you’re having a full body massage you will be expected to keep on your underwear but remove your other clothes, unless you feel uncomfortable. You will be covered with a blanket at all times and only the area being worked on will be exposed. If you’re having a back massage you just need to remove your top and loosen your trousers. If you’re having reflexology I just need access to the backs of your ankles and your feet. For aromatherapy massage it will be the same as normal full body massage.
Are you DBS/CRB checked?
As yet, no. It’s on my to do list and I plan to get DBS checked in the very near future.
